On building burgers
Last Saturday was a special day for me and my best bud Ericka. We’ve always wanted to try new stuff (especially food) so when we heard about the Burger Project’s idea of ‘building’ your own burger, we weren’t able to help ourselves and decided to go and check it out.
The Burger Project’s located along Maginhawa St., Teacher’s Village, Quezon City. Compared to other fast food restos, this one’s smaller and cozier because of their colorful and quirky designs and peaceful ambiance.
You’ll then receive an order form with the list of ingredients you want your burger to have. Just check the boxes beside your choices and wait for your burger to be made.
While waiting, they’ll serve you first with the drink of your choice. This is their Pino Brewed Iced Tea served in an extra large glass for only P30.
Next was the Sweet Potato fries which costs P60. This alone can satisfy your empty stomach. :)
And for the main event: my very own burger I called: Trix’s Hamburguesa Especiales (Trix’s Special Burger). Made from 100% pure beef, lettuce, pickles, special burger sauce, sauteed mushrooms and Mozarella cheese, this was quite a challenge for me because it’s too big for my mouth but the burger addict that I am, I ate it as is.
It was such a fun afternoon. Looking forward to our next food trip. :D
